21/05/2015Conforme ofício circular enviado aos estados em fevereiro deste ano (anexo), o Ministério da Saúde distribuiu 10 mil frascos-ampola de PPD à rede SUS. Além disso, assinou no dia 19 de maio de 2015 contrato com o fornecedor do PPD para o recebimento de mais 10 mil frascos-ampola até julho e outros 25 mil até dezembro deste ano.
Assim, pedimos a divulgação dessa informação, como contraponto à matéria divulgada, uma vez que o país não ficou “mais de ano sem conseguir comprar o teste”. Mesmo com a crise global de fornecimento do PPD, o Ministério da Saúde vem negociando junto ao fornecedor e ao laboratório produtor a normalização das aquisições do teste. O objetivo é conseguir 100.000 frascos-ampola para 2016. Além disso, o Ministério está em contato com alguns laboratórios nacionais e pesquisadores interessados na fabricação do PPD e também na incorporação do IGRA na tabela SUS. No entanto, ainda que as negociações viabilizem a produção nacional, esta é uma alternativa que traria uma solução de médio a longo prazo, não solucionando a crise pela qual o Brasil e os demais países que adotam o diagnóstico da infecção latente pela tuberculose atravessam desde o ano passado.

DEVIT/SVS/Ministério da SaúdeAs disposed in a circular letter sent to the States this February (attachment), the Health Ministry distributed 10 thousand vials of PPD to the Unified Health System (SUS) network. Besides this, the HM firmed on May 19, 2015 a new contract with the PPD supplier for the shipment of more 10 thousand vials until July and another 25 thousand until December 2015.
This way, we request the disclosure of this information as a counterpoint to the released article, since the country has not been over a year without purchasing the test. Although the PPD supply global crisis, the Health Ministry has negotiated along with the supplier and the producing laboratory the normalization of the test acquisition. The goal is to acquire 100.000 vials for 2016. Besides this, the Health Ministry is contact with national laboratories and researchers interested in producing the PPD and incorporating the IGRA to the SUS tables. However, until the negotiations allow the national production, this is an alternative that may bring a solution from medium to long terms, not solving the crisis that Brazil and other countries who use diagnostic of the latent infection by tuberculosis come through since last year.
