The Brazilian Society of Tropical Medicine (SBMT) vehemently repudiates the criminal, terrorist, and anti-democratic attacks that occurred in Brasilia, on January 8th, and reinforces the need for such unacceptable acts to the Three Powers to be investigated, convicted, and punished with the rigor of the law to preserve the Democratic State of Law. The SBMT reaffirms its commitment to the Brazilian democracy and the rule of law.
